A large share of health care happens outside hospitals — in homes, schools and villages. Community Health Nursing prepares students for this work.
Our Community Health Nursing Lab is set up with home-visit bags, vaccine carriers and a village model. Students learn how to pack and use a home-visit bag, maintain the cold chain for vaccines, and plan health education for a community.
With these skills in place, students take part in field visits and health camps under faculty supervision, learning to assess families, educate on nutrition and hygiene, and refer patients when needed.
Community health is where nurses often make the biggest difference — and our students graduate ready for it.

Childbirth simulators and foetal models let students rehearse every stage of labour.
